    Unable to figer out how to add a photo, up for sale in a local auction is a framed collection of german WW2 memorabilia, which include Pilot Badge, Iron cross !st class, photo of the pilot and his crashed plane, his side cap, BMW badge of the plains engin plus other bits and bobs, how much could this lot be worth, added my email if you would like to see photos.

    any help welcome.

                I agree with Tom, badge looks suspicious. Appears to be trying to be an fll but the patina looks screwy.

                If you do buy it, take that into consideration!

                  Also, how is the hat mounted in the frame? If someone glued it to the backboard, that would significantly reduce it's value (if authentic).

                      That was my thought too, a copy of an FLL eagle on a fake dip-wreath Assmann wreath.

                            Just like to thank all for the info over the past 2 days, with this information i was able to give this set a better examination and i was convinced they where fake, so didn't buy them. they sold for £65 so still a good deal for the buyer.
