                That is a very nice, early Assmann Para badge. Looks to be in great condition, congrats.

                    Hi Denis,

                    Its not technically the 1st type, but more of the 2nd type. The egg shaped wreath is the true 1st type of Assmann para badge, much rarer than this one.

                    This type was used as the model for the Assmann aluminum badges that came after it, same obverse design.
