It looks to be the exact same badge as in Jos' #2 right side image. Even down to the single threads (lint?) in the area in the mid lower section, beneath the Adler. And on the right wing tip (as viewed).

It IS the same as the #2 right side image because Jos simply provided a side by side comparison.
Sure looks to me as though the thread starter is a fake.
Interesting comments as this was sold to me as an original by Bob Hritz.
I beg to differ on the comments made that it is the exact same cloth badge there are a number of differences that I can see and if Jos is showing a frontal with the Hakenkreuz blacked out he needs to show the entire badge plus a reverse comparison as well.
If there is another original out there can someone post that as well.
I misinterpretted the images posted by Jos. I thought that 2 Gliders were being offered as repros. Jos did such a good job with Photoshop that I didn't realize he was comparing your posted badge with a badge offered for sale elsewhere. My error.
I can see the subtle difference between the two badges, but am not familiar with the accepted styles in cloth Glider badges to know what is within the period range. The badge you received from Bob H. is certainly a very minty example. I hope it turns out to be a keeper.

I've no more pictures, this comes from a German dealer site who had/has a lot of reproductions and they're sold as such..
I thought they looked very much the same, but maybe it's just a perfect copy..
Here is the badge again and I have circled the areas that I see that differ from the copy provided by Jos. My cloth badge is grayish cloth and not blue in the copy that Jos posted.
