Short Range Day Fighter Bronze Clasp?

    Greetings all

Some help with this one would be apprecieted (please excuse the poor quality images)

It is either a bargain or a wasted $100! is it a good one? and is it a "Short Range Day Fighter Bronze Clasp'?

It is missing its pin and is maker marked RS&S.

    Thanks in advance.

Definitely need better photos to tell for sure if it is a good one. At first glance, the hardware and maker mark do look correct.

I may put this on the e-stand, so a ball park value would be appreciated, missing pin and all.

                      cheers.

Still OK IMO. Value? Personally I wouldn´t pay more than EUR 200.– but that´s me. Missing pin is a major loss – again IMO.

Thanks Ludwig, yes it is a shame about the pin, but still a nice badge.

Well I just picked up a gold by the same maker (No finish, but with the pin,) from the e-stand for $150.
                            Regards,
                            Pete

As a note, I have just had a good look at my bar and it also seems to have a bronze finish, yet a gold pin. Is this typical of a late war R.S.& S. bar?
