    Safe Paratrooper´s badge

Which Paratrooper´s badge/which maker, in your opinion, would be the "safest" to buy? Compare to what many collectors say about KCs and Juncker for example.
    And why?

Would say the big A, the most distinctive?

Why not Juncker. After all the company was bombed and all their dies were supposedly destroyed.

        Hallo Ludwig,

If you are only going to get one, I would stick with the big 3 (Juncker, Assmann or Deumer). I actually like many of the zink ones like Meybauer, GWLs and IMMEs are nice too.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Out of curiosity could somebody say how many JFS are known?

                          Hi Pierre,

There are 7 known JFS examples to me. They are all exactly the same, made all in zink with only variation to the pin (most are solid, thick banjo pin as found on JFS CCCs, but 2 have been found with a round wire pin).

Extremely rare, but not as much as the Assmann Egg Wreath.

                              Hi Frank,

I only know of 2! Definately the rarest para badge to be encountered.
