Don't think it is a copy as they have certainly been together since it was pictured in the 1981 'Wings Of The World" by Russell J. Huff.

You are 100% right, and I never paid that much attention to the badge, as I waas surprised after acquiring the badge to have seen the case in this publication, so obviously the badges were switched prior to my acquisition in 1985.
What an amazing circumstance to me!
You can see how much expertise I have in this area, and again amazed that I never noticed this until you just pointed it out.
I stand corrected!

Max, great work on spotting the case and Scott for pointing out the fact that the badge is NOT the same one featured in the article from 1981.
