Looks promising, but a obverse shot would be nice.

Did somebody forgot it in the washing machine? I believe it has been heavily cleaned or is the light?

        Regards

I don't see anything wrong with her either, but need obverse shot to be sure about it.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

While I'd stop short of saying bad, the poor hand detailing on the swaz and wings would give me cause for pause without much better photos.

I think it is a good one, but what is the deal posting one mediocre image of the reverse only?
              best wishes,

Could be the lighting used, but I wonder if it's an aluminum piece based on the color, particularly the wreath???

I think you hit the nail on the head George, a very good possibility this is an aluminum badge. A weight would tell us for sure if you can provide that aurichnet.

The catch doesn't look like the typical Juncker aluminum catch, they are usually a little bit thicker in diameter, but the rest of the badge sure looks like it could be aluminum.

I thought it was the light. It´s very bright on the pics. But you might be right.

IMO nice tombak badge, I think the badge was cleaned with metal cleaner, the eagle still has traces of white paste on the left wing.
