    Hi Ivan, this one, as yours, has the black wreath but also has the remnants of frosting/wash to it, leading me to believe that, at this stage of the War, any and all types of metals and mixture of metals were probably tested and used…

    Interesting to see this colour of bird though.. As Lorenzo intimates, confusing

      thank you J,

      maybe put to the eagle lacquer and then with the time take this colour. I have seen again badges with protection lacquer and then take a strange colour, like this B&NL PILOT, it seams like a pilot-observer but is only a pilot.
