    Ground Combat Badge 100 - L/58

Guys, what was the scoop on the L/58 marked Air Force Ground Combat Badge 100 at Andreas Thies's auction? Was it arround 1945?

It sounds like a typical Rudolf Souval copy

With the advent of the internet, its much harder these days for dealers to pass this crap onto unsuspecting collectors.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Sure, but is it known when Souval exactly made these L/58 marked badges?

They were produced in the 60s, there are a few collectors on the forum that actually purchased badges directly from Souval through a catalog during this time.

The hardware setup is also very consistent with post war 1957 awards, and was not used wartime.

Tom, thanks a bunch for this statement, I thought it was imortant to point that out, this those L/58 marked badges are very well made and easily been taken for something made before 1945.
