    a Maybe stupid question

    could a lw oberluitnant be a airgunner or were only enlisted men gunners and radio personal?

    cause i have a tunic of an oberluitnant but dont own a pilots badge

      Hi,

      In the early part of the war for the USAAC/USAAF gunners (at least in the 12th AF) were flight officers. Later they were SSGs and finally CPLS.
