Buntmetall IMME & Sohn Air Gunner, goor ?

    Hi all,

what is your opinion about this Imme & Sohn, Berlin marked Airgunner ? The marking is a bit off center, it has something like a chip to the reverse and on the front are two tears, probably from crimping.

I wanted to list on estand but need to be sure before.

    Thank you,

    Jens

Looks like a good one to me. The cracks, while usually not that deep, are not unsual. The wreath gouge is probably from being damaged along the way.

Thank you very much George, indeed, the cracks are not that deep.

                      Thanks Jens

I think the badge is fine it just has some miles on it. Marks being off-center are not uncommon and the wreath damage could have happened any number of ways.

It looks just like my JMME radio operator.

                            Hi Jens,

I can only agree with the others, a nice original IMME badge. Typical hinge, catch, rivets and finish and those wreath fissures are very characteristic of badges by this maker, they can be found on their para wreaths as well.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
