The producer remains unknown. The badge is imo a nice original, one blemish is the missing rivet/eagle.

If the price is right you should grab it...

Hi Danilel, please can you explain me why the rivet is necessary, if the eagle is fused in an only piece?

Hi Roby,


usually there was a tombak eagle attached to that badge. This was the typical way of producing this badge by that maker. When the materials became more and more scarce during the near end of the war, the makers did not attach the tombak eagle anymore, the just closed the hole with a single rivet.

I´m not sure which kind of badge this particular one is, but these surely was a rivet attached to it. If you look closely, you´ll notice a little impression near the rivet break-through, which is a remnant of that missing eagle/rivet.

This is still a very nice badge and Giancarlo is pricing it very reasonable!

excuse me Daniel,
I think this about this badge: the presence of the rivet is useless!!!
Because also in the badge during the near end of the war, the single rivet holds the eagle.
