Like LW Observer thread today, ? on Assmann

Looking at VE45's thread today, got me to wondering about my Assmann Observer.
It appears to be all german silver and not tombac, the mm A is raised.
From what I have been able to read from several threads here on Assmanns, there are apparently several variations.
Again, I thank you-all for your input, opinions.

Sorry to say, but your observer is a reproduction. Originals LW badges were produced in Nickel Silver (German Silver), Aluminum as well as Zink, but unfortunately yours doesn't match any original Assmann Observer badge.

Regarding material, this badge appears to be all german silver. Please excuse me, but I am confused to what you mean on material.
I have looked at many pics of Assmann badges and mine sure resembled what I've seen. But it appears that I'm missing some detail or details. If you would be more comfortable PM-ing me on this or here, I would appreciate your knowledgeable input.

Sorry, Tom is right. Material is not the problem. The easiest way to see it is in the rivets, hardware, etc.
Although your wreath is not at all an Assmann wreath either.
Nicely made repro.

Hope you can get a refund.

I would follow Thomas on this badge. IMHO the raised "A" is too prononced, the rivets don't look like the usual Assmann spun rivets.

Not trying to challenge as much as to understand in spite of disappointment.
I tried to research it but it is not easy at times without a blueprint and handling good examples with knowledgeable people to point out the nuances.
