    Assman Observers Badge any good?

Just found myself a nice early observer, and was looking for one like this (if its a good one) for filling my case that i've obtained years ago...
To me it looks a bit repaired but original..looking for professional help.. opinions please

    Hi Mike,

Yes, I saw that one too. Looks like a good mid-war Assmann to me, nickel silver eagle on a zink wreath. The catch could be repaired, but they probably used the original catch as that is the one typically used on zink Assmann wreaths. Silver finish has pretty much evaporated on the reverse of the wreath, and probably why it looks a bit repaired.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
