    LW air gunner

Guys I've owned this one for a while, recently became a member of the forum, please throw in some opinions!
Here's what I've got on this one: zinc piece, the wreath looks like a good JMME, the eagle is a Deumer-looks like there were no lighting bolts removed, the rivets look correct JMME, the hinge/catch/pin-neusilber, again correct for an early JMME, BUT THERE ARE NO PLATES UNDERNEATH THE HINGE/CATCH afterall its a zinc piece!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Lubo, I have some doubts on this one being that it has early hardware on a zinc badge. Has anyone else ever seen this? Also, that eagle doesn't look like a J&S.

I have to agree with George here, not one that I am a fan of. Not only is the hardware not typical for a zink badge, but its not really IMME hardware either. Neither the hinge nor the catch remind me of IMME. The rivets are similar to IMME, but not quite correct and the maker mark is certainly not a match to originals. I would say that this is a reproduction and not a pieced-together original.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
