I have had the opportunity to work with this material in the past. The material I used was made by 3M and is like a thick plastic sticker. Your work is excellent but I would caution those not familiar with working with this material that the application instructions must be followed closely and you should be careful with application if you have not used it before or you will get a bunch of tiny air bubbles under it that detract from the appearance.

Having said all of that I used it on full windows and doors so I am sure small areas are much easier. It does look nice and I bet Michael that you could start a small side business making various symbols for collectors. I could see Luftwaffe, Heer and political eagles and an iron cross. Does this come in colors? Perhaps gold for the KM collector.

and yes if you dont use it careful u get cracks or bubles under it

Perhaps a death's head and runes? And another idea would be to apply the logo behind the displays on a mirror backdrop.If displaying various forces in a single cabnet,Heer,Luft,Km,ect. on each shelf,a logo for each displayed behind/above the items would give a museum like quality! This could result in a whole new source of extra Euros to convert into militaria! Good luck w/it!

how to aply

ok guys this is for some of the members hwo bought one,
here is how it goes

first you make your inside of the closet glass clean, to make it a grease clear surface, then you put 2 small tapes on each side so you can move each side up and down, untill it hangs right, when it hangs in place and horizontal put a tape across the top like the red stripe on the pic.

be sure you put it on the inside cause its a mirror version of the eagle
