iron cross 2nd class with award document
award document to the medall of italienisch deutschen Feldzug in Afrika

airgunner badge / Buntmetall / marking B&N L with defect on backside

all badges and documents from one airgunner in the lehrgeschwader 1 -
Sturzkampfgeschwader 1 Afrika

I am with William on this! Great grouping and the L/52 Zimmermann EKI is excellent looking! Well vaulted and well worn showing Vet's did Buy and wear the LDO crosses, and perhaps use the awarded piece on a parade uniform or it was tucked away in Mom or the Wife's dresser drawer with the document!
I wonder what became of His awarded EKI? The core finish on this cross is excellent from the photos provided! Is the EKII marked? Almost looks like a wide frame?

The EK II is not marked .
about the EK I . its a very nice item . now, it is a second piece and I think it was worn at a parade tunic .

I got to the group a another EK I . It's a very worn " 20 marking "
