    Hi
I was asked to present you my clasps for destroyer. These clasps are out of my second Luftwaffe KC-grouping (The other grouping came from a Stuka KC-holder: Bomber clasps are presently discussed http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=348914)

Very nice indeed! I have asked the owner for some shots of different areas and he has indicated he will try to post them after Easter. Right now, judging from the back, the second clasp posted APPEARS to be the last of the die-struck type, before they went to die-cast (without the holes next to the wreath). The type posted is VERY difficult to find!

Correct, I try to do some better photos after Easter, if my camera permits and I saw my bank deposit where items are stored

              Hello Hopsi:
Thought I would add these for comparison. The first is attributed also to a stuka group and an early badge. The third one I really like as it is a day fighter modified for the "destroyer". You will see photo's of flieger's with this badge with the swastica on top before the official award came out. Pride.

Agree 100% with Leroy, those are some fine clasps. Can you post a pic of the back of them?

                    Hello Gene,
Herer are the backs. Notice number three held a hangar as a day fighter before the bigger number was awarded as a destroyer. What is unique about this piece is that the hangar holders were inserted within the wreath as opposed to soldering on the outside. Drilled. Never seen that before.

No problem - I will have to go through the files. I think I have an image ofthe award document also which is a day fighter award - transitional piece which I find very interesting.
