    FJ badge opinion

Hello, i recently got a small paratrooper lot with few items in it.
Everything was pretty much well worn and quite used... and this is the badge.
I cannot see any maker mark and i can only guess it's a good late war production.
Do you have any opinion on the originality and possible maker?
    Many thanks,
    Stefano

        Hi Stefano,

Its an original unmarked Steinhauer & Luck. Eagle has lost all is gold finish, but wreath still has a good amount of its original silver.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Thanks Tom, that's really interesting, so probably it is not so late in terms of production period, right?

            Ciao Stefano,

These are relatively late war IMO, probably production of 1943-1945 since they are all zink construction, which started to be widely used in around 1942.

Ciao Thomas, that's right, zink or anyway this kind of kriegs metal construction cannot really be so early... thanks again for your info.
Any idea of the potential value in this condition?
