    I would appreciate everyone's thoughts on this Pilot's badge. Looking thru prior threads, I don't ever see this catch on any BSW badges.

                Its an original zinc BSW, the catch plate being square vs. round is not that big a deal. All makers did the same thing.

                  I'm in agreement with Alan. Nothing wrong with the square catch plate. My own zinc example has the square plate and I've seen many others just like it.

                    I agree, original zinc type, unfortunately these kind of BSW are poor on details, not good as tombak pieces.
