hi iam 65 yrs. old and have been looking at this stuff after finding a luft buckle in my fathers assorted basement junk. about 14 yrs old at the time i have seen 2 of the badges that were aquired by dealers i know, from vets or they were told they were,both were single piece like the late war ground combat badge one was mint in original wrap the other had wear. i still have doubts weather they were mfg. during the war.remember the ocupation troops were looking for souvineers and many companies continued to make whatever they had dies for they were suppose to change or alter their ww2 logos as far as i can remember this went on untill the swastika was outlawed around 1952.
