Tombak Glider Badge Opinions Please

Hello Chaps,
Could you please have a look at the attached pictures and let me have your expert opinions.
The metal appears to be high quality tombak, the rivets are just beginning to show the brass colouration.
The eagle looks like a weak strike.
The hook looks a bit iffy.

Hi Doug,

The design, materials and hardware of this example are not pre-45 - imo it is a good quality repro.

I agree IMO a reproduction.

I hate it when dealers use the term:

"a weak strike"

They sometimes use it to excuse a poor quality fake

Thank you for your expert opinions.
I am getting a little bit better at identifying these better looking fakes and your expertise in confirming my doubts is very welcome.
I will return the badge to the seller..
Kefru, I apologise for the ‘weak strike’ term, that was mine and not the seller’s. I guess it harks back to the olden days when I used to collect Roman coins.
