Great portraits. I guess with only ONE Brooch ever awarded, there was never a chance of a '57 version, or she would have been wearing it in her later years.

Interesting Glider Proficiency Badge she wears with her EK1/2 miniatures pin.

          Thanks Darrell.. !

          Wow, that's a ugly brooch..

The eagle represents sadness, shame, depression, weakness, broken neck .. looks like a chipmunck too..

The stones in the wreath look like boils..

          Wrong jeweler .., pity.. !

I would've had invented a more powerful badge for Hanna..

Historical a very nice item, ofcourse..

          Jos.

Just found this one up for sale. It is from the Hanna Reitsch collection. What a complete P-O-S.

            Mark

This is the German Air Force Pilot Prinzen Size Badge.
This is a one-piece badge with no apparent maker mark. It shows signs of moderate wear. It was from the collection of Flug-käpitan Hanna Reitsch, who was eventually awarded the combined pilot observer badge in diamonds.
Here is a view of the back with the pin down.
The condition is near excellent, with some signs of minor to moderate wear, as shown. $1,499.99 Available

What a lovely piece of jewelry !! Jeezz..

Prinzen ''baked in the sand" version no less.., look how delicate .. and for that price.. un-fawkingblievble..

Think I've a photo where she's wearing this very same mini badge.., unfortunately I spilled some coffee over it... quite a bit actually.. but it's still visible.., sort of.. I guess ..

If you're really lucky, you might be able to sweet-talk old Charlie into throwing in a pair of Hanna's undies with that badge...

Yeah, I'm sure old Charlie sniffed them until there was nothing left to sniff.
