    Dear Alfie,

this is a original first type Juncker observers badge (eagle) with a second type oakleave wreath. Most the eagle have the first type stamp on the reverse side - C.E.Juncker Berlin SW68.

    Beautiful Item!

    Kind Regards,

    Ron.

I'd be willing to bet that's a fake badge.... The wreath doesn't look like an Assmann.

I don't see anything on that eagle that looks like a 1st pattern Juncker one to me.

The wreath does not match any Juncker one I know of either and if it is a tombak badge, which it looks like, it should most definately NOT have a 'SW68' on the back of it.

You really need to post some larger pictures and some of the back as well for a good evaluation.

I agree that it is NOT an Assmann wreath, however it does look like an FLL/Unknown maker wreath, but that is not a very good sign either I am afraid.

Alfie, if you are truly looking for good, solid opinions on these badges you post, you NEED to post larger pictures of both the obverse and reverse. Pictures like this are almost useless in this day and age of well made fakes.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

That is the 2nd time today you beat me to the punch tom, I think that is an FLL wreath, they are very distinctive, a very "cramped together" style. Would love to see the reverse of that badge,

The best Luftwaffe Badges Juncker ever made in Buntmetall (Tombak) have mostly on the reverse side C.E.Juncker Berlin SW68 but these Quality badges are very very scarce and the eagle of this badge is really a original Juncker made eagle but the wreath is not a first type wreath of Juncker and therefore I will ask you of you can let us see a picture of the reverse side?

                    Kind regards,

                    Ron.

The vendor claims the badge is GWL.
