    whatever happened to Tim Hart?

    Hi guys,

    the name Tim Hart has kept appearing in some of the threads. Who was he and what happened to him and his collection?

    does anyone have a photo of his collection?

    Just use the Search function -- Tim went by his real name here on the Forum. Luftwaffe collectors like me miss Tim's contributions and the images of the wonderful badges he collected -- the quality would make your jaw drop.

    In an email to me a couple of years ago, he told me he was selling his collection because of "business opportunities". One of the major dealers here in the USA later told me he had bought 47 of Tim's badges -- I am sure most, if not all are now sold and dispersed across the collecting world.

    What I would give today for one of Tim's cased GWL pilot's badges. Mint.
