    Fake fighter clasp.

Could you please verify that this is a fake. I'm sure that it must be but these clasps are outside my normal collection range.
    Thanks,
    Dennis

The fakers seem to be spending a lot of effort on the Frontflugspangen lately.

                  Hello all,

these fakes are out there for more than 10 years now. I had the first contact with a bronce one in 1995. I bought it as an original and was luckily able to show it to a fellow collector - he told me that these were really new fakes.

From these day I decided to never buy a fake airforce clasp again ..... And it worked.

                  Best Regards

Understandable, but there are many good ones out there, too!

This is absolutely true and the bad ones can still be detected with a little work!

These are true combat badges and represent every bit the same level of participation as PAB's, GAB's, and (at the higher levels) CCC's, DK's and RK's. Some of these are extraordinarily rare and the odds of earning them (and staying alive) were very poor, indeed. In the Luftwaffe, the accepted phrase was "fly until you die".
