Would'nt this be a Radio Operators Badge? The Gunners didn't have the lightning bolts.

Hi Joe technically you are right the gunners did not have the lightening bolts, as the war progressed the Radio operator also filled in as a gunner so the above award became known as the Radio Operator/Air Gunners Award. Sometimes you may find the above award with the lightening bolts either cut or filed away in order to increase value. All the best
