    P/O badge Juncker

Two years ago I contacted a prominent Luftwaffe forum member to enquire if he had a P/O badge by Juncker for sale. As it happened, he had two and sent them both to me to choose the one I wanted which was very kind of him as we only knew each other through the forum.

This is the one I decided to keep. It is now one of my favourite badges. It is not "stone mint" but definately has that "been there" look.

Yep, very nice. I also prefer a badge that has seen some action rather than sitting on a shelf!

                  Hi Stan,

Your lighting really brings out the 'lemon' color of the gilting. That's a beauty you have.

Personally, I can appreciate both the field proven Abzeichen and the 'just pinned' styles. But that's just me! Any way you slice it, one of my 'Top 3 - Must Have' Luft P/Os.

I tend to think the early P/Os and Ps used silver birds and tombak (maybe silver) wreaths. Later, of course, all tombak.

Thanks guys for all the positive responses. Tim Hart was the member who sold it to me.
