Hi guys,
this badge came to me just some days ago with a number of other items that were picked up from the man's family.
There is a engraving on the back that reads like:
AW
4. or II. (?) Zug
3.4. / 3.6.
That is only a guess but the 3rd of april 1939 was a monday, of course it is possible that they started the training on any other day of the week as well, but I thought it might make sense. When did they stop handing buntmetall badges out? And how would you value that badge? I tried to find further info on these topics here on the forum but the BSW badge appears to be not so common.
