    Dienstellungabzeichen

    Happy New Year
    (And sorry my bad english)

May be I post this thread fist in wrong place (in wh/ss qualification badges). Sorry.
But may be this "abzeichen" is Heer badges not Luftwaffe badges.

    Who know
What "abzeichen" are nr.1;3 and 4?
    Luftwaffe? Hitlejugend? Heer?

And why in nr.2 (Nachrichtendienst?) two (2) "blitz"-es?

    Thanks.

no.1 is for a luftwaffe nco schools student, i think no.3 is a trade badge for an nsfk workshop leader, not sure on the others!!!

      number 3 & 4

Number 3 is for a N.S.F.K. workshop leader in a sport & training glider workshop, I know number 4 is HJ maybe a standard bearers insignia? Hope this helps you out.

Thanks for answers. Its helps me.

No.1 "AS" mean: Ausbildungs Schule ?
No.3 is "Werkstattleiter im Gleitflugzeugbau" or "Segelflugzeugprüfer"?

Actually the script on No. 1 is "US" and it means: Unteroffizierschüler der Luftwaffe.

No. 2 (the double signal blitz insignia) is some sort of Luftwaffe trade or proficiency badge. Apparently this badge existed in both round and oval forms. Both forms are shown in: Badges and Insignia of the Third Reich 1933-1945, by Brian Leigh Davis. (see color plate 48 and accompanying text on page 164)
Unfortunately, the actual use for these badges has not been established. I assume that they can only be some sort of signals/communications proficiency.

              Best regards,
              Tom
