    Other B&NL airgunner.

Hello guys! this badge is original? i have serious dudes. The nickel/silver plated wreath has a bright gleam; the eagle’s darker, oxidized silver finish is applied more like burnishing, leaving the higher relief areas still gleaming, if a tone darker than the wreath. The detail is super crisp, the arrows clutched in the eagle’s talons quite distinct. The reverse of the eagle is all dark, with the oxidized finish covering the entire surface. The rivets are rounded and fairly high. The round-shafted needle pin has a few kinks caused by previous bends, but still secures within the catch. The reverse of the eagle is well marked with the stamped, manufacturer´s letters "B&NL".

    Hi,

The details on your badge are not very destinct, the obverse of the eagle and even the back of the wreath are very soft looking. The hardware looks OK for a B&NL, but the maker mark also is very soft. My opininion based on these pics is that it is a soft casting of an original B&NL badge. Can you provide some good dimensions in milimeters and a weight?

Also, is that a hole in the back of the eagle??

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I agree with Tom that this is a casting of an original badge.

The B&NL is junk. The second piece looks good.

The Deumer looks OK to me also. I have seen better looking examples but it appears to be original.

I agree, the Deumer looks like a good one IMO.
