      I would be concerned if the insert had wood like this '57' case. I like your case very much.

        I don't have any early cases to compare the materials with on hand. I only have cases with cardboard inserts. For the early ones I only have photos of the outside features. Thanks for everyone's help.

          Ian, that's a very early case, and it's correct to see wood for the insert. Nice original.
