    hello,

Havent seen those double marked pieces before.

    Does it looks right?

    Hi Martin,

Indeed a textbook J2, with an overstamped IMME. I too have never seen this before, but looks legit and only confirms that IMME & Juncker indeed had a connection.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I don't know. The "s" in the Juncker mark doesn't look right to me.

Maybe it's the photos but this badge seems to have a few issues; I would expect better details and quality

I like it from what I am currently seeing. Like Gene said, we need better pictures.

I'm wondering why there is an "SW 68" marking on a tombak Juncker? I thought that marking was only found on the last of the zincer Pilot Badges.

            Regards
            Mike

Sorry, but that maker's mark is incorrect for that badge.

                  Hi Mike,

I noticed that as well, however we do know of tombak Luft flaks with the Juncker SW68 marking. Clearly this is not a typical Juncker badge as it is overstamped with IMME, and since we still don't really know when Juncker switched to using the SW68 marking an anomoly like this badge is plausible IMO.

Please do post some better pictures, but what aspects of the details do you not like Gene?

This badge has been discussed couple of years ago, if I remember well the IMME mark was stamped over the juncker mark, someone investigated with a microscope..
Think I've pics on file when this badge belonged to Winckler.

I'v also seen a tombak Juncker glider with the berlin sw 68 mark, which came from Niemann..

That looks very strange! Why bother to hallmark if you can hardly read it?
And on the other hand, if you were a faker, why put yourself in more trouble and do something that just would raise a questionmark?

I've seen this on Juncker and GWL pieces. Would love to see better pics of this badge to make a better call.

                            My concerns

                            Hello all.

My only concern with this is not that the Juncker mark is on a Tombak piece......it is the fact that it is on a J2 Eagle and not a J3 Eagle. I have only seen the SW68 mark on a J3 Eagle. It appears to me that this is a complete J2 setup (Wreath and eagle). As of today I have NEVER seen the SW68 stamp on a J2.

JMHO but attempting to justify this mark on a J2 looks like trying to grow horns on a doe.
