    GWL para badge - help!

Hello! What will be opinions on this GWL badge? At first glance it looks promising (and shines so bright) but I have a lot of doubts about it's authenticity. I compared this one with similar type of badge from my friend's collection and have found out that there are a lot of differences, especially the eagle. Here are photos:

Compared to accepted examples in my photo files, your badge is a good one in very nice condition, although the rivets have been tampered with.
                    Best regards,
                    Frank

No no guys, this is a Staegemeir Fake! Be very careful, his para badges are very good, but still several things wrong with this. The biggest is the muted obverse details to the eagle and wreath, and the fake sand-look to the finish. Frank, compare the obverse details to an original GWL and you will see the differences.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I do not second your opinion. A tricky fake it is, sold by one of the German fraud dealers.

Except the eagle and the rivets is another feature wrong......... (a special one for these kind of repros)

An expert fake indeed. i would love to hold one to see how it feels. His fake GWL flak has the same sandy reverse. He loves GWL!

You know Tom, I actually did notice that initially but discounted it due to the fact that the obverse details of the bird looked so good.
Also, does that gold finish go into the chiseling on the rivets?
