              Flak

It is by an Unknown maker, I have the same one that I posted earlier. A beautiful badge and is in Marc's book on page 228. Jim

Mark, if you are going to invest in even one more flak badge, you must buy the new flak book by Marc Garlasco. It is very complete and will possibly save you some grief. There are fakes everywhere.

Nothing better than a ball-hinge in Tombak. The earliest and highest quality badge. I have numerous photos of guys from 1941 and this is the badge they wore. I only wish I knew the maker...

The remaing residue of finish on this badge is very telling of how it looked originally. As Marc said, they are probably one of the nicest of flaks... My personal choice is the tombak Assmann.

Congratulations on this badge, it's a beauty!
