    Luft Flak Badge...

    Hi gang,

I´d like to hear some opinions about this piece. I´m sure it is original, but could you give me any hints about the material of this piece?

    Thanks in advance,

    regards,

    Daniel

PS: Sorry for the crappy pics...

Hi - sorry, the thread must have gotten buried and I just saw it. That is hardware found on Tombak versions, but your photos look like the badge was finished in Brennlack which I normally associate with zinc. Still, the obverse looks like Tombak and the hardware is for Tombak. Either post better pictures or else shots of the hardware from an angle. It is hard to make a call on materials when photos are so washed out like this and of course in hand is best. But I think it must be Tombak from the hardware.

It could be silver plating - very thin - but I need real photos.

                Hi Marc,

I´ll post some better shots when I got the badge in my hand. Thank you for your message, a great help as always.

                Kind regards,

                Daniel
