          Jagdgeschwader Eins, or JG 1. Don't know of an Oblt. by that name, so I can't comment on originality. Probably post war from the look of it, But I do like it!

            One of Many

            These steins were suppose to be made here in the States back in the 70's. I've even heard in Milwaukee, but have never been able to confirm that. I own two myself, both Krigsmarine and a friend owns on that is SS and a Knights Cross holder. Marks on the bottom are the same. I picked one up in an antique shop in Tombstone, Arizona with a German Customs tag attached to the handle. Made for a U-Boat Sailor (no one famous). I found another for an E-Boat sailor, again no one famous, but they are extremely well made and enhance the rumpus room!
