I like what I see so far for a late-war Assman Para. Can you take an angled picture of the catch. It looks to me like the wreath's finish is on the broken part of the catch, which would be a big red flag, but I think its the angle of the picture. We should be seeing the bare zink base metal where the catch broke off. There are very good castings of Assmanns around, so some good dimensions would also be helpful.
This type of Assmann variant is sometimes found unmarked, so no big deal about this being unmarked IMO.
