Hi Dave My opinion that it is copy. All details are wrong( eagle, wreath, pin system, maker mark)

        Hi Dave,
I had one exactly the same which I have had for 2 years and is currently back at the dealers in Auckland to try to get a refund about 2 weeks ago.
Everything mentioned above as well as its dimensions are to small.
        Thanks
        Glenn.
It took about 10 min under the search'Asseman para' to figure this one out so thanks again everyone for helping all your less knowlegeable associates!

Definately not good Dave. When determining if a Para is Assmann the first place to look immediately is the eagles head. If the "large eye" isn't present, then look no further, it's not an Assmann. The "large eye" is a constant characteristic of all Assmann Para Badges. If you compare the eagles head on the one you posted with the one Sergey has up there you'll see it right away.

I agree with all you guys and especially Eric´s thesis. If the "mother goose" eye is not present, it´s not an Ass-Man!

Hope you don't mind me chiming in late here but a few observations.
Definately not a text book assman eagle but a juncker. The stills are good but I didn't see that nice "clipped" far left talon which I do like to see on real Junckers.
Not saying it isn't there on this one but the stills don't show it.
I must say that I can not fault the eagle otherwise and it may be a real one IMHO.The eagle anyway.
The only other logical question is whether Assman and Juncker out sourced with each other. Any views?

Even if the eagle was cast from an original Jucnker eagle, the whole badge is bogus, in my opinion.

                      Cheers, Frank

Here is another of these so called Assman Para's. There sure seems to be a lot of them floating around. This one stung me about 2 years ago. I keep it around as a reminder of how stupid I can be. Jeff a
