ground assault badge question

normally when you see Luftwaffe men wearing the luftwaffe ground assault badge, I have noticed it is always in conjunction with the flak badge. That makes sense as I image the vast majority of awards of the ground assault badge were to flak men who earned the badge using their flak guns against ground targets rather than to infantrymen in the luftwaffe feld divisions.

Does anyone disagree with this statement ?

IMO half of the Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badges went to the paratrooper and Luftwaffe Feld Divisions...

Also as the war progressed and manpower shortage crept in the Flak crews were replaced by young boys and woman so late war Flak awards tended to go to infantry units where the flak crews were reassigned. And yes I agree with the above comments you have made more so in the early and mid stages of the war.All the best
