Hello Dan,
It looks as though you have a later war Juncker 3rd pattern in zinc - The hinge is a type that Juncker used on their later war zinc badges, rivits and wreath look 3rd pattern, although the catch looks kind of big - maybe a replaced one?? All in all I'd say it's an original zinker! I can't seem to find any gold wash on the wreath and the eagle appears to be darkened - are you sure it's a P/O and not a regular Pilot badge??

I also would have put my money on a 3 pattern Juncker Zink badge. But since it is the first of these badges I have ever seen, just one question;
Is it a typical feature for these badges that the right claw touches the right upper swas arm?
Hi Philippe,
The right claw on some of the zinc eagles comes very close but does not touch the swaz at all - I believe it is just the camera angle here that makes it appear to do so.

I'm writing a PART II of the Pilot's Badge article (Part I is already at the printers). Part II will deal exclusively with the zinc late war badges. I will need your J3 zinc example for this article. Would it be possible to get larger and better images plus dimensions of this badge? You will get full credit.
