I did a search on here and found several threads addressing zinc Deumer AG and AG/WO badges. The hinge and catch setup like the one I have posted are included.

Hi Ron,
I have an identical twin to yours in my collection, which I've had for years. I have seen this setup on a few original late war zinc Deumer AG/FE's over the years. Authenticity has never been a question in my eyes - they're identical in every aspect to the "textbook" zinc examples, the difference only being this alternate style hinge. Even the pin on mine has the flattened area on it known to be found on Deumers.
