Most of these look good, but I don't like that retired pilots at all. Compare that to the ones recently posted by Tim. The pin on #9 looks kind of thick. Anyone else see it?

Hi Carl,

I agree with George. The pin on #9 seems to have been tampered with. Not only does it appear to be too fat, but it is sharpened. First time I've seen that on a J2. J3's yes but for some reason they didn't sharpen the earlier pins. Also, there is evidence a a Deumer-ish routing behind the hinge. Simply some work done on an otherwise original bage.
(I can't see the hallmark but the handiwork points to Juncker rather than Deumer even though they shared parts at one time).
