    cased Fliegerschuetzenabzeichen - Juncker-

    Hi,

I came across this nice cased Juncker Fliegerschuetzenabzeichen. Because of my recent LW additions, I probably have to let it go. But I want to share this Juncker piece. Do you see those Juncker pieces often?

    Luft RO/AG badge

    That's a lovely badge

I bought one myself recently-same make, but with recipients name and Fliegerhorst scratched on the reverse.

Nice piece. There was another like this recently on the eStand as well.

Very nice badge and case. Case is early with cloth like covering. What is written on the lid please?

              Very nice Martin!

I would guess that this one is the version right after those marked CEJ. You'll note the lightning bolts are cut out at both ends, later buntmetal ones with this style eagle and maker marked in this font were only cut out at one end and eventually not cutout at all.
              Congrats!

I think the 'CEJ' mark and 'full name' marking were, at some point, both in use albeit for a short period of time and if you think about it it becomes clear why... Anyone care to discuss why I say that?

                Very nice early RO/AG!

This is a J1 and as you state, just after the CEJ .

                    Hey Rich!

Sure, always waiting to hear more thoughts and discussion. Would make sense though as I could not foresee where a manufacturer would say--okay, tomorrow we change our logo and all the old badges in the system are being recalled.
