              Hello George, didn't think so, not even alloy or tombak it's on sale at £120 (Uk pounds sterling) which would be a little under priced for an original I guess

                This one cannot be good.

                Meybauer is not known for making pilot badges and not PO badges. Added to that the bird seems to be the GWL/FLL type which has been copied very well. The Meybauer stamp is not like any Meybauer stamp on other badges.
                The very cheap price should also make concerned.

                  Hello Markus, Although this is not my area of collecting, I have to say that I had several concerns when I first saw this particular Badge for sale. As you stated the maker and also the actual maker mark itself. However I thought it was worth posting the pictures as I feel this Badge would perhaps fool the majority of new/ inexperienced collectors as it was obviously manufactured to deceive.
