'Doppelabzeichen' - Aluminium - Repro?

Dear all,

I recently acquired this aluminium, light-weight: 'Gemeinsames Flugzeugführer/Beobachter abzeichen' (or 'Doppelabzeichen'). The badge has a maker ('SOG' in a triangle) and has quite some detail.

I personally doubt it is an original specimen but before 'throwing it out the window' I would very much appreciate your comments.....

Throw it out the window as a fake - or sell it to Alan Beadle as original as per his book!

Not original! Sell to those dealers who sell such badges as originals. Give them a really good price and give them a chance to really believe!
