    Luftwaffe Flak badge opinions? comments?

    I received this badge from an estate of a WW2 vet, who was a friend of my mother's. I know he was WW2 vet, but I'm also pretty sure that he served in the Pacific theater at the end of the war and is a member of the occupation of Japan. I'm not sure where he would have picked this up. Can anyone tell me about this badge? It says Juncker Berlin on the back and the clasp is broken. I'm no expert of the originality of these badges. What would be the insurance value? Should I repair the clasp? Looking at the threads I saw some amazing badges and read of people's preferences for different makers and am just amazed that there are people out there who loves these things as much as I do. Bad thing is I can spend hours on the computer (new member). Thanks in advance for any info. Here's the link to photos

    2nd Pattern Juncker - lots of pitting to the reverse. Their quality was not so great at times. The upside-down maker mark is great! You can't cast that! I would not change a thing. Value around $300-$400 because of the broken catch.
