    Thanks for the help! Not the flat top I was looking for, but certainly very similar traits to the unmarked Flak.

      Marc give me 20 mins to set the better camera up the top of this pin is flattened off and take a look the colour and how its all held together.

              You know it...so do we have enough to call it Deumer? What do we have:

              1) 1957 badge by this maker, and it has to be Assmann, S&L or Deumer, and it is NOT Assmann or S&L
              2) Similar hinge
              3) Flat pin - a Deumer trait.

              Does this make the link enough for everyone? Hell, I don't really care, is it enough for me?

                            Very good evidence indeed! Marc, post a few shots of your flak badge with similar pin trait so we can all see what you are talking about. If they are a match, I would be comfortable calling these flaks Deumer.
