Godet Para Badge help

Hi guys,

There is an auction coming up soon that apparently has a Luft para badge by godet, I assume this as it is advertised as being marked J GOD.. U.SOH BERLIN. I haven't been able to find any reference to Para badges by Godet. Does anyone have any info or pictures I could use to determine if this thing is likely to be fake or real?

That doesn't sound at all promising to me. Do you have any pictures? I would like to see a Godet marked Paratrooper Badge. You may also want to post this question in the Fallschirmjäger Forum.

Yeah I have my doubts to, hence my post, but it is in a group of para stuff including helmet and AGMUK5 Gd Aslt Bdge that look OK and according to the blurb with it it is stuff brought back from Crete.

So I want to check it out as much beforehand so I am well armed when I go have a look at it on Monday.

Hi Steve i have seen a Godet marked para however i didnt like it, I would be very interested in seeing some pictures of it.
