Help on an observer badge, P.Meybaur.

I have looked at the fakes forum and the badges on here, and the best I can come up with is a big ?, any help is appreciated..

I see a few differences between this badge and known badges in my files. The maker mark is far different in spacing (is this mm raised?) and the rivets are wrong. Also, aspects of the eagle differ.
Can you post a picture showing the edge of the badge?

Hi Van,
this badge is a definite repro, the wreath is a common fake and the eagle is a takeoff on an Assmann, the mark isn't right either.

Here is a good buntmetal Meybauer to compare.

Now that's nice badge . I would take one of these meaty Meybauer's over most of the Observer series any day of the week.
